Aim of the subject: The aim of the course is to explore the basic connection among the operation and the management as well as quality assurance in point of view of
engineering;
identifies the most important terms of engineering management and the quality management; to teach the most important tools improving the performace
and
effectiveness of the operation and the quality management system of the production.

During the semester it is required an essay and presentation on a special topic of operation management (10-12 pages, following the requirements of
the closing
thesis, min 10 minutes) and to present a case study in a quality assurance case (10-12 pages, following the requirements of the closing thesis, min

minutes).

9. Elõadás: Connections between engineering management and quality assurance. Terms of Quality. Quality management approaches. Development of the quality management. TQM, Lean, Standartization (ISO) of quality management and audit, HACCP, etc.

11. Elõadás: Tools of quality management and the quality development. (Seven tools of quality management, FMEA, QFD, etc.)

12. Elõadás: Developing the quality system, costs of quality, optimization of the quality management in point of view of engineers.
