Aim of the subject: The manager is someone responsible for a whole organisation or some part of it. We are now over-managed and under-led in corporations. There are two
rival conception of contemporary approach to managing. First one is based on analytical mind-set (slow thinking) and the second one is based on
intuitive mind-set (fast). Contemporary managers use both of them. Their roles are determinate by equilibrium between the two mentioned mind-set.
Analytical approach is well known, but intuitive approach is less known. In this course we point out intuitive mind-set of contemporary managers.
The aim of the course is to:
- understand managerial thinking process
- be able to apply some models in different situation
- recognized smart tools for support managerial thinking processes

The final grade of the subject will be determined by a combination of the presentation on selected powerfull thinkers (10%), presentation on recommended articles (10%), building knowledge-bases (20%), concept-mapping activity (20 %) and oral exam (40%).
